  • 1.  Outputting a ticker (crawl) to an avi file

    Hello Xpression Gurus!

I have a crawl built in LAYOUT view... I'm being asked if it's possible to export my crawl from expression into a quicktime format. I know that xpression does not export into quicktime format, but is there a way for me to export my crawl into a file format that I can send to post production?

Each time I try to export my crawl from the sequencer (either a video file or still sequence) it crashes the xpression program.

Would the AVI Recorder be able to do this? If the answer is yes, does anyone have instructions how to accomplish this?

    Thanks

    S.

    This should work:

    - Export take item to images>.png sequence

    - Open up quicktime 7 on mac

    - File>Open Image Sequence

    - Select first file in .png sequence folder

    - Save as Quicktime .mov

    - Import quicktime .mov in Adobe premier

Thanks Don... I use a script to animate off my crawl, which doesn't get rendered in a image sequence. I'll keep researching. But thanks for the help.
