    Hello,

Wondering if anyone has run into this issue.

Almost every time we re-publish our projects, one or two of the graphics in that project changes without us editing/working on it. What happens is that the published objects in the template links shift up. For example: If a quad meant to have a picture is published with the ability to adjust texture position and texture scale, after publishing the check marks move up one.. to visibility and texture position.

Right now, we just fix it after someone tells us that they can't move/scale something and we just go ahead and fix the check marks and republish.

Could this be some sort of a bug? Any ideas?

    Appreciate the help!

    It's probably this bug:

"¢ [fixed] the template data tab will no longer scroll back to the top when changing a published objects properties

This is fixed in the current XPression release, 5.7 3064.

As long as you're in software warranty you can contact Tech Support (techsupport@rossvideo.com) and arrange to be upgraded.

Thanks for the reply. We do have that update and it's still happening.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you.

You are currently running exactly XPression 5.7 3064 or higher a different build or version?

Do you have objects in your scenes with the same name? Ex. a text object and a quad that have the same names?

    Exactly 5.7 3064

I do not have anything with the same name. The last time it happened was in a template that had a total of 8 pictures, all named accordingly.

Are your XPression MOS plugins and XPression MOS Gateway also running 5.7 3064? You don't have a version mismatch anywhere?

I know this is tedious, but.how about your Project Server? Also 5.7 3064? You can see the version at the top of the Project Server manager. Sometimes it isn't upgraded during a system upgrade.

I really appreciate the help. I looked at the project server and it's the same version too.

    Hi Mildred,

We will need to compare a project with the published items in the correct placement with a project with the items in the incorrect placement.

Can you send us a project (xpp) with the items in the correct order and another project (xpp) with the items in the incorrect order? We just need to know which template(s) are exhibiting the behavior.

    Hello Garner,

Is there an email I can send this project to? We are still having the issue. Please let me know if you can't take a look at this.

    Hello Garner,

What would be the best way to send you this email? Should I just export the entire project ?

And yes, and export of the entire project.

    File > Export Package

So we'll need a good AND bad copy of the project. And will need to know which scene are BAD.
