  • 1.  Can You Freeze a Live Source from the Sequencer?

Is it possible to freeze a live source of a scene from the sequencer?

I was recently asked if I could freeze a live source using the Xpression. I have a scene with a "Live Source" material in my sequencer. I'm thinking maybe a script would be able to accomplish this? Basically, need to put the scene (with the live source material) to air, then be able to freeze when director cues me. Anyone ever tried this before? If a script can do this would anyone know the verbage?

    Thanks

Have a look to the SDK, it seems to be possible, but I can't try it right now...

There is a "xpLiveSourceShader" object with a .pause() method.
