I need to play a loop of scenes, but the scenes should be skipable if the text data it reads, demands that.

A scene group would be simple for a loop maybe, but I think you can't make them skipable with data.
Maybe it can be done in the sequencer?

I found out that sequence groups can be looped. With Transition Logic, you can make them overlap some, which looks nicer.

Only thing I still need, is the option to skip scenes when they encounter a certain text.

It's not possible for the moment.

I'll try to put online the nextTakeItem, it's works, the scene is skipped, but the entire group is not played after this.

I try another way... We keep in touch...

Would it be possible to have a check in OnBeforeOnline that if it determines the scene should not be played, it hides the overall group object and turns off all the scenedirector tracks so that nothing plays or is rendered, and it just moves on to the next item in the group? Not sure if it will work or not, but it is something to try..

Interesting you may have found something. It would be cool to see an example. I have Visual Logic now, so I can use that too.

Think a Visual Radio show. That is what we have.

I just made strips of text that move in with a matching icon. After a while it flies of screen and brings in the next strip and icon.
Since I can't skip scenes, I only created one scene with four strips and put that on loop.
Drawback: the presenters MUST always fill four items and we can't have more.

It would be way cooler to have like a 20 scenes loop (each with a strip and icon), which are skip-able via text files that contain flags. So if the presenters have lots of items, the visual radio show will show many things on TV. If it's a slow day, they can omit items by changing the flags in the text files.
