Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out a way to have a virtual preview output to another (computer or monitor) person in the control room like the script so that she can approve the content before airing the CG. Any idea??

maybe a second video card? I'm not sure you can do that. Does your video card have any unused outputs (even composite)?

A virtual output on a second screen, in xpression configuration you set this output as a preview one...

There is also a separate product/application called the Desktop Preview Server which can run on a different machine and display previews from XPression.

Team viewer program may be a cheap option.

Brian, is there any documentation on the Desktop Preview Server? Is this a ross product or 3rd party? I'm very interested in researching that.

It is a Ross product.. You should email xpression@rossvideo.com for more info/pricing/etc.

You can also set up Dashboard to receive previews from any XPression on the network.

Thanks Guys for your help..tons of solution, very interesting. Another one would be to use a 2 Port DVI Digital Video Splitter/Distribution Amplifier. One signal to your 2nd monitor and the other one to another monitor.
