Not able to import materials to Xpression. When trying to drag over a image to the materials I get the "do not" logo (circle with a line through it). Tried .psd, .jpg, .png. Running Xpression v5.5. Same thing goes for the object inspector in layout mode.

Appreciate any insight.

The drag/drop feature for importing materials might not work if your project isn't saved or if you have UAC enabled.

Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > Security Options > User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" > Disabled

I believe you can only drag/drop into the viewport and materials manager.

Hello. I got the same problem with an 5.15 Xpression version. I can drag and drop materials but when I try to import them from the material manager the application shut down.
I checked the "Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > Security Options > User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" and he's "Disabled"
This application use to work great and nothing changed in the configuration lately.

Are you importing from a network share/drive or USB or a local disk?

It's from the local disk. The "image" folder of the project. Xpression sometime cash befor I try to import, just when I clic in the material manager window.....
I tryed with different projects and I got the same problem. We've got 3 Xpression here I tryed my project on the 2 others computers and everything is ok I can import normaly on those 2 Xpression with the same project.
