    Hi,

I'm making Messenger-inspired text-bubbles using Slabs and Visual Logic. Scaling the width with the text bounding box works fine, but when I try to do the same for the height something goes wrong. It appears that the Slab height block in visual logic alters the width and not the height. When I then insert more line breaks the width expands. I have tried doing this with a quad, which works perfectly fine. I used the tutorial (link below) to do it, and adjusted the pivot offset to include the bevel so the top and side does not move.
I have also tried using the scale Y block, but no luck there so far.

I have attached two screenshots - the only difference between the two is the connection between the Offset block and the Slab height block.

Has anyone run into the same problem? Is there a fox for this?

    Thank you in advance!

    Regards, Oda

    Hi Oda,

Yes this is a bug, thank you for reporting it. We will fix it but it will require you to upgrade to version 6.5. A fix should be ready this week for this issue.

This should be fixed in Version 6.5-3608. You'll need to contact Tech Support to obtain an upgrade. Ask for that version specifically.
