  • 1.  XPression Video Coder - Conversion Issues

    Hi all,

    Having some rather bothersome conversion issues in Video Coder. We are rendering out MOVs as Apple ProRes 4444 with an alpha channel. And very often we are hit with the Video Coder picking up no alpha channel, or it does but with distortion and noise. Has anyone had this issue and if so found a way to work around it? Could this have anything to do with running XPression Designer on a Virtual Machine (Parallels)?

    Do you always make sure your alpha source is set to 'From File'?

    I wouldn't be to surprised if the issue are caused by running in Parallels.
