  • 1.  Using Script To Capitalize Each Word Of Text

    Posted 06-20-2014 02:29
    Hello All,

    Is There A Way To Capitalize The First Letter Of Each Word In A Text Field In Xpression? If Not, Does Anyone Have A Script To Do This?

    I Was Able To Find text=Ucase(text) WHICH CAPITALIZES EACH CHARACTER but can't seem to find Capitalize 1st Character Of Each Word.

    Does Anyone Know The Scripting Language To Change The First Letter Of Each Word To Capital Letters?

    Thanks

    S

    Text = StrConv(Text, VbStrConv.ProperCase)

    This reminds me of an old chatroom joke:

    NEWGUY: HEY GUYS! WHAT'S HAPPENING?! A/S/L? OMG!!!!11!ONE!

    OLDGUY: Try pressing caps lock...

    NEWGUY: OH THANKS THIS IS WAY EASIER THAN HOLDING SHIFT!!!

    Or better Yet...

    Episode of the Simpons, where homer is using the computer.

    Computer Screen Displays: "PRESS ANY KEY"

    Homer Screams (after searching the keyboard): "WHERE'S THE "ANY" KEY!""
