I am trying to create a series of overlays to add a black and white treatment to photos I bring into XPression. I can do this with colors, so making them purple/green etc, but I cannot figure out a way to make them black and white. Anyone have any luck with this?

Here is the node tree. The Top color is an additive blend mode and it adds a shade while the bottom color also adds some color to the background. Any advice?

Use the "Color Adjust" effect from the effects tab and add it to the quad. Set the saturation to 0%.
