    What is the best texture format to work with in xpression in real time? Does something change from one to the other?

    I always prefer png as well. Smaller file size than tga; with no loss in quality. png works fine in Xpression.

    I am of the same opinion. PNG is my favorite format for image files. Uses transparency as alpha, very light degradation on image quality and small file size.

    I want to hop onto that bandwagon too. PNG seems to just look right, behave the way I expect them and the quality degradation is minimal.

    PNG. Have never had issues. I have had problems in the past with TGA and not being saved in the right bit format.
