I'm not sure which forum to post this in seeing it relates to two products. I'm having a little bit of trouble with something. I've set up customs on our Carbonite to load up supers in XPression on particular take IDs, so that if I press Custom 2 it brings up one host's name, and Custom 3 brings up the other host's name. I put a hold in and then set it to take the item offline when the button is pressed again (Tk Off action). I've set up the items in my sequencer to have an out transition.

The problem is that when I take the item offline using the Carbonite, it performs a cut on that particular item instead of using the transition I have set. Is this normal behaviour, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi James,

What version of XPression are you using? In versions 4.1-2107 and above the Out Transition should be using when the RossTalk SEQO command is used. Versions of XPression prior to that version just used a cut.

I only have version 4.0. I'll find out about updating then.
