Does INCoder/Video Coder support XDCAM .mxf and AVC Intra video file??

    A customer has asked that can INCoder/ XPN Video Coder transcode XDCAM/AVC-Intra to XPN Codec?

    We have tried to install Sony XDCAM Viewer on our XPRession Demo unit, but the XPN Video Coder cannot recognize the XDCAM .mxf file.

    Is it possible to make the Video Coder or INcoder can transcode XDCAM/AVC-Intra?

    Tony, The XPression INcoder utilizes the XPression Video Codec. Normally, we can transcode MOV files and Video for Windows (AVI) files, which the customer has added the proper codec (which does include installing QuickTime, also) installed. MXF is not a supported format, as it is neither a .mov or .avi file extension. We have had some success using the CALIBRATED plugins for some of the files, and AVC Intra was one I think we did get to work in limited testing. However, I don't think it is officially supported.
