  • 1.  manual used for Xpression video coder

    Hi all

    i want a manual used for Xpression video coder because i don't known how to convert a file .tga

    p/s:i want convert file .tga to video .avi .Because file .tga when add to xpression it display as a picture not like a video.

    Hello Lee,

    It is not very difficult.

    In the Videocoder go to New Job, select the first file of the .tga-sequence.

    Next select the Alpha Handling and change it to Shaped / Premultiplied (if applicable)

    Next in the Output-window select your desired Framerate and Field Mode and in Color depth choose RGB + Alpha.

    Select the location where you would like to store your .AVI-file and press the Render All button.

    It should start rendering.

    A big remark however on the .tga-sequence:

    Make sure the first file of the sequence starts with a 0 and that there are at least 3 digits in the filename.

    So for example: NameOfTheTgaSequence_0000.tga, NameOfTheTgaSequence_0001.tga, NameOfTheTgaSequence_0002.tga, etc...

    In some cases the sequence won't get properly rendered if the first file isn't 0 at the end.
