  • 1.  Can you Keyframe effects in Xpression 5.0?

    Just upgraded to 5.0 and was checking out the new effects. Is it possible to keyframe the attributes of the effects?

    It is currently not possible but I would expect this will be available in a future release.

    Not directly but you can keyframe a (hidden) object in the scene and use visual logic to link a property from the object to a property on the effect..

    e.g. Animating the X Center of the LightRays effect:

    Thanks Brian,

    I had to keyframe the "Box Mask" effect, and I solved it by setting the length of the effect to 1 frame, then adding 10 copies of the effect, and then changing the values for each frame :)
