Full disclosure, I am a hair's breadth away from throwing things at walls level of frustration over this, as it is - on it's surface - the simplest possible thing and it's going completely sideways on me.
Here's the setup:
2 quads and some text.
One quad is the BG, then the text, then the second quad which animates on X to create a reveal of the text.
One mask (a slab, as the texture on the 'reveal quad' is of an angled 'sleeve') connected with VL to move in conjunction with the reveal quad.
It's essentially a first day of XPression learning kind of setup in its simplicity. And, in the Layout, it works flawlessly, but when I test in in Sequencer, it acts as if the mask isn't even there. GAHHHH!!!
I have checked layer order, made sure the VL is set to run before the scene directors advance, made certain there we no negative keys, restarted the program... I've done everything I can think of, but
it
just
wont
work
So, apart from things I have listed out, are other possible reasons for incongruities between layout and sequencer?
Thanks in advance
