  • 1.  Pausing Scene and Resuming after pressing a trigger

    Gents I have a question,

I'd like to build a scene of a timeline within Xpression for an upcoming broadcast. There will be 6 or 7 points along the way where i'd like the scene/animation to pause, but start again on my cue. There will not be a pre-determined time this will start back up because the announcers will not be following a script but ad lib about each event in the timeline. That is why I do not think I can use the Scene Director Event Properties 'Pause and resume after XX frames'.

    Any ideas?

Just use a regular pause event in the scene director. When you hit Enter in the sequencer it will resume the pause..

From the scene director, right click and choose Add Clip->Event. Click the "Relative" checkbox and leave jump to frame 0 set, and choose pause.. This will make a pause event that doesnt jump anywhere but waits for your trigger (Enter) to resume it.
