  • 1.  Conversion of .MP4 to .AVI (XPression Codec) audio sounds slow

    Hello,

I updated Quicktime and I can convert (Instagram) .MP4 files to the XPression Codec (.AVI) successfully, but the when done the audio sounds slow when playing out of the XPression. Is this not suppoorted yet? Is there a setting or adjustment that needs to be done in Video Coder? My original process was to use Sorenson Media Squeeze to converter the Instagram (.MP4) to .MOV, then use Video Coder to convert to XPression Codec (.AVI). Due to the fact that Instagram has made the data rate of the files larger, this has added to workflow timing. If I could do this with just video coder, it would save a lot of time. Thanks.

The video coder won't convert between different frame rates. Is the MP4 the same frame rate as your xpression project you are playing it back from?
If you upload a sample of the MP4 and the AVI someone might be able to look into what is happening.
