    Hey all,
We are trying to get text to move behind a material in z space but no matter what we do it still moves in front of the material. We have changed the layer priority and where it lives in z space.

Also we can't seem to adjust the vertical text spacing, is there a way to do this?

    Any help would be appreciative.

In the Object Inspector (bottom of the page in designer) There is a tab called Rendering. Select the text object you want to work with and then click on the Rendering Tab. Render Order Priority defaults to Text On Top. Change this to Normal. Text will then behave like a regular object. You can also set the default in Preferences. Go to Edit at top of screen and select Preferences.

Vertical spacing is done on the "Scene Fonts" tab. Each font has it's own properties. If you change it for one scene it will change it for all scenes. To adjust inter line spacing (Leading) just select the text block you have and adjust the leading. It will ask if you want to change all examples of this font. If you say yes, it changes every scene with this font. If you say no, it does nothing at all. Otherwise make a duplicate of that font and adjust that one. Let me know if this helps.
