On our Vision 3 we have a PST BKGD (preset background) button on the transition module. I understand what function the button has, but I was wondering if it's possible to change the default crosspoint the button selects (to a source other than Black).

I'm certain I can build a Custom Control that could accomplish what I am trying to do, but if I can avoid using one of those slots, I will. Currently, nobody in our facility uses the PST BKGD button for its intended purpose.

Hi Daniel,

while holding down the PST BKGD button you will then be able to select the crosspoint source that you would like to use via the PST Bus. While you are holding down the button (about 2 seconds wait) you will notice the PST bus will "flip" over to show you the source assigned to this button.

Thanks for the answer. It makes sense it would work this way. I'm sure we'll start using this function now that we understand it better.
