In Layout, go to your Scene Manager, right click to create a Scene Group. Put your scenes to be rolled in that Scene Group.
Click on the main layer in Object Manager, then in Object Inspector, you should see a Scene Group tab, this is where you can set some parameters of the roll, eg. speed, duration.
On the individual scenes that make up the roll, you should be able to find in the Object Inspector a Roll/Crawl tab, and set the Page Margin bottom number to a number greater than 0 (I used 80) so that there is some space between the scenes as they are rolled, so they don't butt up together.
On a Deko, for example, as you type the roll, the page expands downward to fit the text, your roll consists of one page only. For it to work in XPression, I found I had to type my info across several scenes, as I had to do on the Infinit. I put several items on each page, but you could put one item per page too, I imagine, so that you could delete individual items from the roll without disturbing your other material too much.
To make it roll, drag the Scene Group into Sequence and hit Take Next.
Hope that helps!
