It's hard to tell from that photo exactly why that is happening, but the bigger question is, being that this is a flat logo, would it not be better simply brought in as a png texture with an alpha and mapped to a quad?
As for the image, it really just kind of looks like you are looking at your viewer at a value other than 100%. Also,have you put this in your sequencer to see a better approximation of final output would be? Sometimes things can look a little off in the editor view, but be fine in output.
