Hey everybody,

I'm creating a lower third which eventually will be linked to a data source.

I need to use the word wrap feature since it needs to be a two liner content. I cannot seem to manage how to use the auto squeeze but still be limited to 2 lines. It limits the width but still keep creates more lines as I type...

Is there anyway to limit the number of lines or even number of characters?

Yes I would like to know this too. Is there a way to do this WITHOUT scripting. Maybe in the next version of Xpression we can get a TEXT FIELD object where we can designate how many lines to be before it starts to scale down. Every other graphic machine I've worked with has had this type of functionality.

You can limit number of characters via visual logic using blocks such as left string and setting the value to say 140 but currently not the number of lines.

You can also use a mask although this does require the operator to understand what's happening when they don't see all the words they type.
