Struggling with a simple bit of transition logic, and my concern is this is an 11th hour request, and this forum tends to be pretty slow when it is afternoon on the west coast, but here goes:

This scene is almost exactly the same scenario as Red's video tutorial https://www.rossvideo.com/gallery/xpression-u/getting-started-with-transition-logic-on-xpression/

The difference really being that I am sliding a quad with an image off from Left to Right instead of text from bottom to top...

Anyway. I have everything setup exactly like the video in terms of Scene Directors, 1 each for the IN and OUT moves, and the IMG in and IMG out transitional moves.

When I play these in the sequencer, the IN is fine, and the OUT is fine, but when I transition, the Image slides off like it should, but instead of the new image sliding it behind it, the back-plate is blank for a breath and then new image just pops on....

Any idea what I could be missing?

    Thanks
    - Willie

If I check the 'Render Incoming Scene On Top' option in my Back to back rule, the exact opposite happens... the first image pops off and the second image slides in...

It should also be noted the behavior doesn't change by toggling on or off the 'Render only Animated Objects' option....

OK, the plot thickens... if I turn off everything apart from the image, the TL works as it should. When I turn back on the quad I am using as the back-plate, then it breaks. What?!?

Well, this makes 0 sense at all, BUT replacing the Back-Plate Quad with a new Quad, identical in every way fixed the issue...
