  • 1.  XKeys device as Custom Keyboard

    Posted 04-18-2013 01:05
    Hello,

I was wondering if anybody else has an "X-Keys" device that they are using either in conjunction with their current keyboard. I do not have one of the fancy XPression keyboards and was looking to use one of these devices to handle some of the programmable keys found on the special keyboard. We have a 24 key unit.

I know the device supports .net scripting (VB, c#, etc)...just curious if anybody has tried it.

    Thanks!

    Brian

    Hey Brian,

There are XPression customers who use X-Keys to perform keyboard shortcuts, but I don't know anything about the setup. Don't forget to check out the keyboard mapping in XPression. Edit > Keyboard/GPI Mapping.

We're using X-keys for our Xpression. We set up shortcut keys in the Keyboard/GPI Mapping menu to define specific actions, and then programmed keys on the X-keys to that shortcut. We've got ones that will call up our logo/time and temp bug, for example. Works great...
