    Hello All,

I'm an Xpression Newbie and have gone through the user guide which I feels like a pure reference.

Does Ross provide traditional tutorials anywhere?

I know Ross isn't ADOBE but a few example based tutorials would be most helpful...

    Hello Robert,

I'm afraid Ross isn't very into tutorials :-)

However, they do have some sample projects that they can send to you so you can see how scenes are being made.

If you have any questions, please don't hesistate to ask them here, we are here to help you.

    Best regards,

    Kenneth

    *Edit*

To be complete, probably also worth mentioning that Ross also provides trainingsessions. However they will cost you...

    Hi Robert,

Wireframe Group are the ones that do tutorials for XPression, however, they're not cheap ($999 for a tutorial DVD with 22 tutorials on it). I haven't got them myself, but I believe they're very comprehensive and worth the money, especially if you get new operators later and don't want to get a Ross trainer out again or have time to train them yourself.

    Their website is http://www.groupewireframe.com

If you sign up on their website (for free), you can download a sample XPression project. I used this, along with the sample project from Ross, to work out how to use XPression, and I've become quite accomplished at it, I think.

    James.

Actually I didn't know there was a company doing tutorials for Xpression. Good to know that!

By the way Robert, I'm still looking for an internship ;-)

Maybe a good deal? I get a little more insight in the the way graphics are produced in the US and in the meantime, I can teach you all the tricks of the Xpression? ;-)

    Best regards,

    Kenneth
