Hi all,

We just got a couple blue boxes that are in addition to our Studio machines. On the Xpression Studio machines we save an XML file into a watch folder which loads the scenes.
For the blue boxes we want to do the same but I do not see a place to set a watch folder in the blue box options.

Is this capability disabled for blue box? Any alternatives?

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately due to the BlueBox not having a Sequencer in the same way that Studio does it's not able to use the XML Take Item List watch folder feature.

An alternative I can think of would be load your XML list into Studio, save the project and then deploy that project into BlueBox. Any take items that are in the sequencer when the project is saved with be saved to the project file. And then those take items would be availableto BlueBox when that project was loaded onto it.

Not the greatest alternative workflow, maybe if you explain what you want to do we can give a better suggestion.
