  • 1.  Converting .MOV to AVI

    Posted 07-13-2017 21:05
    Hello all,
I am in the process of converting a 2-second video to be used as a transition in the Xpression. However, after I converted the video (.mov file) to AVI, the video ends up being twice as fast as it was before the conversion. Am I doing something wrong? Is it the codec? Any solutions will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks

It sounds like a frame rate issue. What did you use to perform the conversion?

I agree with Willie. I have had the best results building the video to match frame rate and size of my final output.

If you are using the XPression video coder to do the conversion; it has a dropdown box where you need to choose the correct frame-rate. It does not auto-select this based on the input video; you must manually choose the correct output frame-rate.
