There MUST be a way... So... I'm in the process of setting up a rather complex system for automating alot of the graphics part and such...
However, being Norwegian, we happen to have three more letters in our alphabet than you guys do...
Á†, Á˜ and Á…...
So... Here's my problem...
- In DashBoard, I get the names of my teams players from an XML file (works just fine, shows up with the special characters etc...
- I can access the Parameter just fine with DataLinq.
- Xpression set up with DataLinq works just fine... Until...
Until I get a player with one of those letters in his name. Instead of the actual character, I get gibberish instead!
I did some testing, and using the HTML codes to provide the special character codes for this works. However that just seems too complicated for me.
Having &Aelig; Ø and Å as Á†Á˜Á… seems a bit wierd...
Seeing as Xpression and ROSS are worldwide basically and I suppose they dont want to limit themselfs to the english speaking world ONLY. I guess you have some way of letting in special characters?
I suppose I COULD build a task/function that will look through the paramter, and replace the special chars with their code equivalent in a different paramter that is not visible in DashBoard, but... This has to be in there somewhere. Like a UTF-8 declaration or something! I just cant find it... Help please!
