  • 1.  Drag and Drop Material Import Issue

    Hello All,

    I have been working in Xpression for about 4 years. There is an issue I have ran into over and over again.

    Some computers will allow drag and drop (from windows explorer) and some computers (even very similar or the same build) will not allow drag and drop import.

    Does anyone know a fix or work around for mass import of materials.

    This could fix it, you're on Windows 7 right?:

    Windows > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Polices > Security Options > User Account Control: Run all Administrators in Admin Approval Mode

    This setting should be set to Disabled. If it is enabled it can block the drag and drop functionality.

    I am on Windows 10 , but this fixed the Issue. Thank you very much for the quick reply!

    Fyi, in the latest beta builds of XPression there is an option in the UI to do a mass import of materials; you will not need to rely on drag/drop. This is a feature you can look forward to.
