We are using BB units for graphic playout... and need to check vertical timing.

Would this be on the Expression sync gen? or on the Matrox card?

Are adjustments for sync timing made in the hardware chassis or through a set-up GUI?

    thx.

Sync timing adjustments on the XPression system are made through the XPression software to the Matrox card.

    Navigate to:

Edit > Hardware Setup > 'Configure' Matrox XMIO2 > 'Board' Tab > Genlock > Timing Offset > Vertical

You can make changes to the horizontal timing of individual outputs on the Matrox card under:

Edit > Hardware Setup > 'Configure' Matrox XMIO2 > 'Output #' Tab > Horizontal Timing Offset > Fill & Key Offset

Try both negative and positive values in these offset fields, changes made to the timing offset will alter the timing of the Matrox card immediately

Let us know how it goes, or if you have any questions!

Still having trouble finding this... all we can find at the moment is the Matrox Card info... and that is telling us that the chip temperature is 37.5 deg. C. ..........

We have checked on both the remote desktop view (via Team Viewer), and at the chassis in the equipment room... no luck...

    thx,

This is done in the XPression software. If you click on edit tab on the top of the page within XPression.
