This is odd. I have a very simple side slab element which needs to be able to contain any sort of information as a sentence or paragraph. Easy enough, but once i turn word wrap on and start entering text, I get crash dialogues. The message is EAccessViolation at address 00ABA9EC in module 'XPression.exe' Read address of 00000008.

Not really certain how to combat this, or if it is a known issue. I tried to send the crash report (twice) and the send failed as well.

While on the topic, assuming I can find a fix or work-around.. is there a way to put a 'Max Height' on this block of text so that it cannot vertically exceed the boundaries of the graphic?

    Thanks

I had this problem a couple years ago with a custom font that turned out to be corrupt. Replaced the font and problem went away.

hmmm... that's interesting. We did already have an issue with this font earlier that necessitated deleting and reinstalling the family. I may try a different font to see if the problem persists. I had considered on the way home last night that maybe I had both max width and word wrap on and that this was the source of the meltdown. Time to fire her up and see what's what.

Confirmed, I did have max width on as well, turning it off stopped the crashing. Now I just have to figure out the second part of my question which would probably be better served in its own thread,

    Cheers
