  • 1.  Transition Logic, old data being displayed for a few frames.

So I'm creating a ticker that uses transition logic to display new information.

I've created the B2B In animation and the B2B out animation.

When the scene comes online, the B2B In animation plays, this works exactly how I wanted it to work.

When we take another scene using that same template, it plays the B2B Out animation, but then it will briefly show everything that just animated out for a few frames, then the B2B In animation plays with the new updated information.

The strange part, is that this "showing of old information that just animated out" only happens on the first switch after it's initially brought online.

If we bring a third scene on using that same template, it works flawlessly, and so on and so forth.

Any idea why this little glitch is happening in between the first and second scene and not between the third/fourth/fifth/sixth etc. etc. scene?

We would need to see the scene and how it was built to be able to answer this.

I uploaded the project to the RossBrickFTP > Xpression Projects > WKBN... it's the YLEH Ticker (scene #170)

I'll send you an XPF in a private message to try.

I had to change a few things in yours.

    1) You should create a blank scene director and set it as the "default", otherwise the one marked as default will run in addition to the one transition logic is running; so it was playing the B2B In scene director when putting the scene online the first time.

    2) You should remove the "default frame marker" from the end of the B2B Out scene director. The marker indicates where a new scene should have that animation cued up to when going online; and you don't want this at the end of the "out". you only need it at the end of the "IN" so that all your objects start in a default location with everything animated in.
