Hi, all. Happy New Year! :D
... During the holidays, my station lost their lead Graphic Designer, so a lot of the knowledge for more build-based features/functions with XPression went out the door with him. Bugger.
Anyway, I'm trying to pick up some of the slack -- making varying progress -- but there are still a few questions I was hoping folks could help point me toward the answers for.
1.) For a News-based FSCG (Fullscreen) with a Title and Subtitle, our Corporate PKG came with a nifty feature that if 2-Lines of Text are manually inputted via iNEWs, then the Title and Subtitle's Visibility would automatically size/orientate as desired. Whereas, if only 1-Line of Text is added, only the Title would appear and fill the entire "Title Bar," as intended.
... My question is, I've tried cannibalizing these elements AND their corresponding Visual Logic, to replicate this feature in new graphics, but I never seem to do it correctly. Does anyone have any guesses as to what I'm missing? The elements are Published via the Template Links, and it looks like everything should work, only that when there are 2-Lines of Text, the Subtitle does work as intended, but the Title remains with the default Text.
Any of that make sense? lol
2.) This is more a "catch-all" question concerning Radio Buttons, and I'm not even sure how to shape it. Essentially, I want to know how to generate a custom "YES/NO" option for some Published elements. Does that require Scripting? I just want to turn an element either on or off via iNEWs...
Frankly, I'd love to learn more about this feature, and while I am an avid AVID U watcher (*badum tiss*), the XPression section is rather vast. To avoid folks here having to state the obvious, could someone please forward me some links concerning either of the above? I don't mean to be asking questions to answers I should already know after all.
Thanks, everyone, for reading through my ramblings. Hope you're well.
Take care!
Sincerely,
~Sean
