    Is the clip server option a software upgrade? Can you add it after the fact?

    Clip server function is already embedded in V6.0 or later version of XPression Studio software. So first of all, you should run the correct version.

    Secondly, you should pay attention to the license issue. XPression Clip server requires XPN Studio multi channel edition and with CLIP option enabled. If your dongle is SCE ( Single Channel Edition) version, you are required to upgrade the license. If your dongle has no CLIP option, you are also required to upgeade the license.

    Finally, you should pay attention to your existing hardware. The graphic card is required GTX980 or above. The SDI I/O card may require 2 inputs + 4 outputs.
