I know this is something that can be easily accomplished on a Chyron, but I'm not sure if it's possible on the Xpression. I'm looking for a way to use a keyboard hotkey to trigger a Scene Director from a scene that's already online. Can this be done with a script in Transition Logic? I have very little knowledge in scripting.

I'm thinking about trying to make a scene with a sponsor bug with an animated scene director OUT. I want to take the sponsor bug scene online, then run through a dozen or so lower thirds, then try to quickly take the sponsor bug offline with a hotkey that activates its scene director OUT instead of having to go through the sequencer. I want the lower thirds to stay online so I'm not sure if I can accomplish this through a scene trigger on the lower thirds.
