Hello, my 6.2 XPression Video Coder is buggy. I need to convert video asap as the project is too heavy for the XPression to use uncompressed QT. Can someone help me out NOW? My login doesn't work!

    Hi Gvane,

What do you mean by buggy? Can you try reinstalling Video Coder? I will PM you a download link in case you can't find it in C:/Archive.

    Gvana,

Can you elaborate on buggy? Double check that video coder is set to match the same settings as the input file such as frame rate(29.97, 59.94), and color depth (RGA+A(32bit) or RGB(24Bit))

My encoder refused to be set lower than 4:4:4. And the codec could not be used in After Effects either. Someone gave me the 7 version. That works better. But my initial problem still remains: the XPression bleeps and prepares very long before playing. Something is wrong and I can't find it.

Someone gave me the 7 Encoder. That works a lot better. For now, the issue is solved.

FYI, There was a bug that if you have a video clip on a scene director track and the clip starts in negative time (the video on the track is dragged to the left of frame 0), then it will take a long time to prepare. This would not be affected by the video coder or the clip itself.
