  • 1.  Datalinq to Excel, using Multiple Sheets

    Hi all,

We have an Excel workbook we are linking too. It has 7 sheets. We have added each sheet as its own source. Unfortunate Xpression can only read data from the last source/sheet added and active. Any suggestions?

We use Excel pages as well. However I only use one at a time. But what if you incorporated all of your sheets into one master sheet? Each cell would have a unique row and column that Datalinq could reference.

Yes, that's what we are currently doing. It creates some other issues.

    David,

There should not be any issue with using multiple sheets (I just tried it). A single ADODB data source can access data across multiple sheets as long as you set up the named ranges in Excel correctly.

Can you provide more detail on how you have the data source configured etc?
