  • 1.  Pausing a video at random points

    Hi Gang,

    I have had great help from this forum and my little brain needs it again.

    Is there a way to pause a video while it is playing in sequencer. I don't need it to stop at a set time. I need to be able to stop it when asked by the Director. This could happen at anytime during the video, so I can't use the "Pause" event in the scene director.

    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    You can use a keyboard macro that will stop the scenedirector.

    Search the forum for a thread called: "Video playback" and you'll find a script in there to do what you need.
