I created a second user profile in Windows on our Xpression computer so that we can let our students (Chattahoochee Technical College) access the computer to be able to practice operating and creating scenes in the Xpression, but not give them Administrator access to the computer. However, when I tried to open Xpression in that user profile, I got an error, and it wouldn't open. I don't think it's reading the dongle. Is there a proper way to do this?

XPression needs admin access to read the dongle.. You can try this https://www.maketecheasier.com/standard-users-run-program-admin-rights/ but, it leaves you with a risk of a student editing the shortcut to point to other applications.. its recommended to just use the XPression account..

Thank you for you reply. I will give it a try. I don't think I have to worry too much about any of our students trying too hard to hack the computer. It's more of a reasonable/prudent precaution.
