I am having inconsistent results importing .3ds models from Blender 2.66. Does anybody have basic guidelines on what will work best? What to avoid?

I just started importing models into XPpression today and was having a similar experience. This is what tamed the .3ds for me. Select the meshes you are exporting then apply the position, rotation and scale data. You can do this quickly by pressing (ctrl a). With the mesh still selected check selection only from the .3ds export options. Hope this helps.
