"‹Every time I Close Xpression and re open it, all the values which uses Datalinq freezes to the value that was last received before I closed my Project. If I change the value from where the data is coming from, the value in Xpression stays the same. The only solution I find was to go into the value, click set on the data source, then just click OK without having to change any values. Then the Datalinq is live again and I can use it normally until I Close the program again. Since I have several hundreds of Datalinqs this would take a lot of time every time I open my Project just to re activate the Datalinqs. Posting some screenshots of my settings in the Datalinq.

After restarting, the values do update when you play from sequencer, but do not update in layout? If so, this is actually the designed behavior. The values in layout are not intended to be updated live. There is actually an incorrect behavior that once you assign the datalinq to a text object in layout mode, it is actually registering that text object to receive live updates, but this behavior is not intended to actually do this, and may be changed in a future version of XPression. This would explain why when you restart XPression those text objects no longer receive live updates anymore. What is your workflow that you require the values in layout mode to be live updated? Are you playing scenes back from layout mode? We can use your responses to consider future changes that might make your workflow easier.

Yes that's what it's doing. When I'm designing in layout, I need to see updated values in layout because I have Visual Logic that hide, move and show certain elements. Since the data is not updating I can't see if my Visual Logic is doing what I'm wanting it to do. Also it's Nice if the data in layout is updated so that I can check if I linked all my values to the correct Places, instead of needing to playout the scene in the sequencer to check the updated values. In general, it would be Nice to see updated info in the layout, so you can always see linked items as New as possible.

I don't know if this is an on-air machine but if you put your scene online while in layout it will live update in the viewport and output.
(Double click scene in scene manager or drag&drop scene onto framebuffer layer)

Great. Make sure to always test your scenes in the Sequencer as well!
