  • 1.  Adding a + to a positive number

    Hey everyone-

    I'm working on pulling some football data from a StatCrew XML for our graphics package. One item I would really like to show is turnover differential, with the eventual values reading as +3 or -3 (or whatever value they are). The -3 is pretty easy since the math makes it that automatically. Any ideas on how to add that + to a positive number using visual logic?

    I would have a + as a text object and set up VL to only make it visible when the value of the text field was greater than 0

    Would this work? The plus/minus sign should follow the digits' justification.

    Yes! In my mind I knew I could link it to visibility of plus sign if greater than zero...but wasn't sure on making it follow justification. I will give that a shot. Thank you!

    I'd normally handle the justification with an offset tied to bounding box width scaled.
