    Hello folks,

I have a broadcast coming up that will require 80 PowerPoint slides. What is the best way to employ XPression? How should I bring them in and will I still be able to manipulate the text?

    Many thanks,

    Benny

Perhaps set up a live input?

If you need to edit text still why not remake the powerpoints inside of Xpression itself? Any thing else is likely going to over complicate the issue. It would probably be better to just go around the Xpression and use some sort of scan converter to key over it on your switcher if you want to incorporate Xpression elements into the presentation.

Thanks for the replies. I was under the impression XPression had a feature to easily integrate PowerPoint slides but that may have been a dream. I ended up exporting the PPT slides as jpegs and importing them into XPression and resizing them. While the text is not editable within XPression, our scan converter, as Daniel wisely suggested is old and the image -- especially when dealing with text -- is inferior. Looks like it's time to start looking at a replacement scan converter! Again, thanks for the replies everyone.

    Benny,

Powerpoint playback used to be a feature of XPression (Windows XP only & version 4 and below) but it has been dropped as a feature and will not be implemented again.
