So I'm trying to create a stocks board that will pull the latest DOW numbers from an RSS feed that I already have and put that data into a board. I'd also like it specify using a green arrow or a red arrow (both materials in my project) based on the RSS data. Now from what I've read, there would be some scripting involved to make this work and to pull the right data from an RSS feed that includes a lot more than what I need, but that's where I need some help.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?

Can you share the link to the RSS you're using? That would probably help us out in taking a look at it.

As for the arrow color scripting, could you share a .xpp of your stocks page? I can take a look at it and do some scripting for the scene. I just need to see how you've got it set up in order to make sure it applies. We do some similar things here with our display.
