    .NET scripting is a programming language to add dynamic capabilities to scenes/templates etc.

    Visual Logic is a not a programming language, it is a system of building blocks that can be drag/drop/connected to add dynamic capabilities to the scene. There is a tutorial video on the XPression U page you should watch as it shows what visual logic can do.
