    The new M5 BlueBox has a 9 pin serial port on the rear panel.
    Confirming, Is this an RS232 serial port?

    Yes. The 9 pin on the back of all Ross XPression turnkey chassis for M2, M3, M4, M5 & M6 is an RS232 serial port.
