  • 1.  I need some proper, formal, in context instruction...

    This scripting thing is killing me, and I need proper in-context instruction. I am willing to pay a trainer who can teach me the ins and outs of scripting in XPression using actual scenarios and usage. I find I catch on pretty fast in such an environment, but as is as much as I appreciate the forum responses I am getting, anything short of a, "Copy this script and paste it to your file" is not helping as I don't understand what i am looking out well enough to know what to substitute with what to suit my specific need. And although I have a pressing need for some specific implementation now, and my failure to produce my well find me unemployed, beyond the scope of this week's task I need and want to actually understand this stuff so I can reason how to build these things, or modify existing scripts accurately. The online resources I have found are vague and don't provide me with context, which for me is crucial.

    I know Ross employs trainers, perhaps one of them can help, or maybe there is another source. Again, I am willing to pay for this, I don't expect this level of instruction to be free. So please, anyone... help save this drowning man

    Thanks Garner, I will do precisely that. In the meantime is there anyone I can commission to assist me in the writing of these couple of scripts that I need specifically for my project due end of week?

    Hey Will if you don't have time to get the training I suggest hiring a freelancer that has the skills, you can look on our crew site for people;

    Well, being a freelancer myself, I am less interested in having it done for me than I am in learning how to actually do it...
