I apologize if this has already been posted, but I can't seem to find it.

At our local access station, we produce a number of parades in a season and the director has come to me with some questions about automating the graphics process. He wants to know if it is possible to indicate a scene number in a datalinq table have it automatically select the proper scene in the sequencer. I can't see how this would be done, as I have always had to connect the datalinq source directly to the scene and then it automatically populates the data. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm sorry if this is dumb question, I've only been working with XPression for about a month.

I can't think of any easy way to accomplish this.. What is the reasoning behind wanting to do it like that, is it to speed up the process of adding scenes to the sequencer?

If you have a lot of scenes and you are trying to add specific scenes to the sequencer quickly by number, use the Ctrl+I keystroke where it pops up a dialog that you can type a scene number in for it to be added to the sequencer.

If you are trying to automate the creation of sequences you might want to look into importing text or xml sequence lists that could be created in some other application.
