  • 1.  Values of Continuous Animations are not being updated in Visual Logic

    Hi,

Is it possible that when the scale of an object is being modified using a continuous animation, that the value is not being refreshed inside Visual Logic?

For example, I have a quad on which I have put a continuous animation on the X-scale.
When I look in VL, the value of the X-Scale always stays the same.

Is there a spcific reason for this?

    Cheers,
    Kenneth

Is this option selected? (In the main viewport of the scene)

Hey Cainnech, that is true you will not see the adjustments made by continuous animations inside VL. However, the good news is that the waveform block in VL is continuous animation. Please see photo 1. Actually it's better than continuous animation as rather than being fixed values you can actually connect other blocks to the values, so you can have some fun with it, for instance, I have attached an example where the object begins to spin faster and faster as time increases. See photo 2.

Thank you @redmile for your suggestion. I actually have never tried the waveform but I'll have a go with it!
